I
’m curious what the journey is of this frooom bike. We didn’t cover former shared mobility initiatives in our Shared Mobility Report we posted a while ago, but finding this bike at the Naarden-Bussum station does trigger some questions...🤔 How often was it used a Shared Mobility bike, and what happend since… Was it stolen?, abandoned after a rental session?, sold as part of a bankruptcy sale?
I recognised the bike’s frame and colours as being part of a bike fleet, but I’m not sure whether frooom was a service offered in The Netherlands? The bike looks quite similar to bikes I saw when on a trip to Being, China, but as I recall, these carried the “ofo” - brand. Is there a new purpose for ex-shared mobility vehicles? Let me know what you think… of if you know the story behind this bike 😀
